We can't leave financial education to chance
The average Australian 17 year old walks into adult life without the skills required to manage their personal finances and make good long-term financial decisions, leading to depression and anxiety, sleep, relationship stress, high blood pressure and reduced self-confidence.
And by age 17, their money habits are already ingrained. What if we could proactively set them up for success?

Michael Sgro
My financial education started at age 2, sitting on my father's knee while he traded stocks and CFDs. My parents always valued my financial education and would take me to investing seminars and business conferences from an early age. When I got to university, frankly I was astounded at how little my friends knew about money. Sadly this is the reality for a lot of Australians.
Since leaving high school, I have run a business offering my services as a freelance camera man and lighting technician in the film industry, working across Perth and Melbourne. I started The Inspiration Institute to address the big issues that I see in Australian society, starting with our shocking financial literacy rates.
